The family home of Margaret and Simon de Maré is a mid Victorian terrace house situated in a small, quiet leafy street in the heart of Little Chelsea. An area that was adjacent to the estate of Sir Thomas More, Lord Chancellor to King Henry VIII, and executed in 1535 at the Tower of London.

The two bedrooms, a double and a twin both with en-suite facilities, are at the top of the house with an adjacent second floor roof terrace overlooking the gardens.

The street is parallel to Hollywood Road, well known for its bistros and restaurants
and the popular Hollywood Arms pub, and a few minutes walk from the trendy “Beach” district of the Fulham Road and the boutiques of the famous Kings Road.

The number 14 bus, at the end of Hollywood Road on Fulham Road, takes you past the Victoria & Albert Museum and Harrods to Piccadilly Circus and the West End, thirty or so minutes later. The nearest underground station, Earls Court on the Piccadilly and District Lines, is 15 minutes walk away and South Kensington Station is a pleasant 20 minutes walk past fascinating specialist shops.

London Heathrow is 40 minutes by taxi, at £40 or around an hour by the Piccadilly Line Underground and then the 14 or 414 bus from South Kensington. The Eurostar terminal at Waterloo is 40 minutes on the 211 bus to Hollywood Road.
